Yes Barnes is very blatantly doing this right before Independent Bookstore Day on Saturday, the same as Amazon running their big book sale this week to undercut Indies this weekend. SO if you also have complicated feelings about it and aren't sure you want to pre-order from Barnes at this moment, IBD would be a great day to pre-order BARGAIN from your local indie if you have one!

Whether you pre-order from a local bookstore, a chain like B&N, or wherever it is you shop for books, every pre-order is a HUGE help in the lead up to release.
