"Death Echoes Overlapping" - New Short Story from Skies Press Author Megan Chee!

"Death Echoes Overlapping" - New Short Story from Skies Press Author Megan Chee!

Megan Chee, author of our forthcoming The Archaeology of Falling Worlds, has a new short story that just published in this month's issue of Lightspeed magazine!

Death Echoes Overlapping is a science-fiction story of just under 5000 words about death and conciousness and what it truly means to be alive, with Megan's signature talent for building worlds and characters that you latch onto immediately. I'm always so extremely impressed with how much she's able to accomplish in such a small space with her short stories. (This one made me cry)
Read it here!

You can find a list of Megan's stories that you can read/listen to online for free in this Bindery post here

And my own guide to a few of my favorites in the Archaeology announcement video (start @ 7:25)

If you're wanting to get a feel for Megan's work before you see what she has in store for you in her first full length novel, I can't recommend these stories enough. I'm such a fan of her work (if that wasn't obvious from, ya know, the acquisition).
